Heat transfer labels

The label with nothing to cut out

Also called a tagless tag or an iron-on label. The design bonds to the fabric itself, so there is no edge to scratch a neck and nothing for a customer to snip off.

What we do

Easy to design, easy on the budget

The heat transfer label is popular for a simple reason: it is straightforward to design and it costs less than a woven label. We produce fine-quality heat transfers that are easy to apply without giving up anything on the design side.

Each label can be printed in up to four separate colours, which opens up a very wide range of designs. With our selection of inks and backing fabrics you can find a combination that suits your garment, and because heat transfers carry bright colour well they are a natural fit for kids clothing.

Artwork and delivery times are fast. We provide a production sample for approval within 5–7 working days of receiving your signed approval.

Our minimum order quantity is 500 pieces, with no maximum.

Why heat transfer

What you get from a tagless label

01

Anyone, any wear

Heat transfers hold on a wide range of fabrics, which makes them suitable for athletic wear, sports kit, baby clothes and almost anything else. Because the design bonds to the fabric there is no itchy tag at the neck.

02

Finest quality guaranteed

A peeling transfer crumbling off a shirt is the classic failure of a cheap supplier. We control ink, backing and curing so the label stays put through dozens of washes.

03

Four-colour freedom

Up to four colours per label lets you carry a full logo lockup, care symbols and size in one application rather than stacking separate labels.

04

Easy for small runs

Transfers are simple to apply in-house with a heat press, so crafters and small brands can label to order rather than pre-labelling stock.

05

No sewing line

Nothing is stitched, so there is no needle penetration in delicate or technical fabrics and no seam to fray.

06

Kid-friendly by design

Bright colours, no scratchy edge, and no loose tag for a child to pull — the reason transfers dominate the kidswear market.

Common questions

Before you order

What is a heat transfer label?

It is a design printed onto a carrier sheet and then bonded to the garment with a heat press. Because nothing is sewn in, it is often called a tagless tag or an iron-on label.

How many washes will it survive?

A properly applied transfer on a suitable fabric stands up through dozens of washes under normal domestic conditions without fading away. Application temperature and pressure matter, so we supply the settings with every order.

How many colours can you print?

Up to four colours per label. That is normally enough for a full logo, care symbols and size information in a single application.

Which fabrics do heat transfers work on?

They work on most cottons, polyesters and blends, including performance fabrics. Very textured, heavily waterproofed or high-pile fabrics are harder to bond to — send us a swatch and we will test it before you commit.

Do I need special equipment to apply them?

A heat press gives the most consistent result. A domestic iron can work for small quantities, but the temperature and pressure are harder to control, so results vary more.

Are they safe for babywear and kidswear?

Yes, and they are the most common choice for both, precisely because there is no tag edge to irritate skin and nothing loose for a child to pull at.
