What is a satin woven label?
A woven label made on a satin weave, which produces a smooth, slightly glossy face. It is the most widely used clothing label in the garment industry.
Satin or damask?
Damask holds finer detail and feels softer; satin has more surface sheen and costs less. If your artwork is bold and legible, satin is usually the better value.
Will a satin label irritate the neck?
Satin has a smooth face and we seal every edge, so it sits comfortably. For the very softest option against skin, damask is a step better again.
Can satin labels carry wash-care information?
They can, though for dense care text most brands run a printed label behind the woven brand label. We make both and supply them together.
