Three ways to put your name on a garment
Each one suits a different fabric, budget and finish. If you are not sure which you need, send us the garment and we will tell you.

Damask, satin and taffeta, woven on broadloom machines. Boardloom, end fold, loop fold, Manhattan fold, mitre fold and laser cut finishes.

The tagless tag. Up to four colours, applied directly to the fabric, so there is nothing to scratch the neck. Survives dozens of washes.

Polyester satin, nylon taffeta, cotton twill tape and double-face satin. The right choice when you need to fit a lot of wash-care text.

Fifty-five years on the same looms
Kowloon Knitting has been making labels since 1971. In that time we have woven for home sewers ordering their first 500 pieces, for tailors' shops, for school and army badge programmes, and for garment factories running repeat orders every month.
We own our weaving, printing and cutting equipment, so nothing is subcontracted and nothing waits in someone else's queue. That is why a signed-off artwork becomes an approved production sample in five to seven working days.

Before you order
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order is 500 pieces per design, with no maximum. That threshold is deliberately low so a new brand can order a first run without committing to warehouse-scale volumes.
How long does it take to get my labels?
We produce a physical production sample within 5 to 7 working days of receiving your signed artwork approval. Once you approve that sample, full production and delivery takes roughly 5 to 14 days depending on your destination.
Which label type should I choose?
As a rule of thumb: woven for brand labels where texture and longevity matter, printed when you need to fit a lot of wash-care text on a soft tape, and heat transfer when you want no tag at all against the skin. Send us the garment and we will recommend one.
What artwork format do you need?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) reproduce best, but we regularly work from a JPG, a PNG or even a clear photograph of an existing label. Our design team redraws artwork for weaving at no extra charge.
Do you ship outside Malaysia and Singapore?
Yes. We weave in Johor Bahru and ship worldwide. Delivery time and freight cost depend on the destination, and both are confirmed in your quote.
Can I get a sample before I commit?
Yes. Once artwork is signed off we produce a physical production sample for your approval before the full run begins, so you see and feel the actual label first.
